Binance CEO visits El Salvador and meets with President Nayib Bukele

It is a visit that Zhao made to learn more about bitcoin city and see how the implementation of the cryptocurrency is currently working. 

Yesterday the founder and CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, the entrepreneur Changpeng Zhao, met with the president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, to discuss the projects of this Central American nation related to bitcoin.

Zhao highlighted the bet on bitcoin in that country, saying, “They are pioneers for our industry. I believe that in a few years or decades we will see that this is a heroic present for the economic development of El Salvador”.

This is a visit that Zhao made to learn more about the bitcoin city and to see how the implementation of the cryptocurrency currently works, thanks to the trip he made to El Zonte, which has a bitcoin beach and began with the implementation a few years ago even with special ATMs for crypto.

The CEO of Binance also met with the Secretary of Trade and Investment Miguel Kattan, and with the ambassador of El Salvador to the United States.

Binance is the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world and one of the richest thanks to the investments it receives.
