On October 1st, EFE Consulting Group™ inaugurated the firm’s newest office in South American soil, being the city of Caracas, Venezuela, the chosen country.
With an initial team of 12 professionals, conformed by international tax specialists with vast experience working for Big 4 firms, EFE Consulting Group™ lands in Venezuela in a moment of political and economic uncertainty.
“Our decision to start business in Venezuela has been carefully analyzed due to the momentum the country is going through, which has pushed many multinational enterprises to leave the territory or stall their investments until they see a different scenario. The staff of EFE Consulting Group™ in Venezuela will be under the leadership of Mr. Alfredo Reyes, who worked for more than 12 years within Venezuela’s Tax Authority, the SENIAT, where he oversaw the Transfer Pricing Division for more than 5 years, before being promoted to Manager of the Tax Analysis and Audit Division.
